Scrap For Help March Challenge

Hi Ladies! We have a new challenge at Scrap for Help. and here is my DT work for it

Тема этого месяца - мешковина. Это могут быть кусочки, нитки, цветы из этого материала, одним словом, в любом виде.

and here are the rules:

BURLAP!!!! 

 A fabulous addition to a project, but maybe not very often used!!!  There are so many things you can do with Burlap.

You can use left over bits, or recycled pieces from old bags etc....Just think outside the square and create a page/ project using this material.  

You can include it on your work as is, or think of a clever way to incorporate it somehow-

You might want to stamp with it,

Colour it.....

Make it into flowers, 

Impress it into wet media...... etc

You are only limited by your creative imagination!!!!

So I used some Glitz papers with burlap design and some pieces of it I placed over and there

and I love those Glitzz Rhinestones with burlap and old Map designs

 У меня это , во-первых, бумага от Glitz  с принтом мешковины, эпоксидные украшения с этим же принтом, ну и сама ткань, порванная на кусочки и разбросанная тут и там

I colored Manor House Creations flowers with Lindy's Daubers . and added FWAB Chloe Pearl Flourish Antique Gold

Добавила цветы Manor HouseБ естествено попачканные красками Lindy's Stamp Gang.

Завитушки, моего люимого оттенка Античное золото от FWAB

and some texture using Clear Scraps Damask Mascil, texture paste and Lindy's Stamp Gang Staburst Daubers (love the shimmer and 2 tone color effect)

and framed the photo with chipboard 2Crafty Corner Arches

which I embossed with Lindy's powders

more Manor House Flowers and FWAB bling. Also I added some pearls from the pack, I topped them on the chippie

Few days ago my October DT projects for 2Crafty chipboard were posted on their blog, so I re-post it here with some more info and details

Today I would like to share some  layouts I made for my baby son. He had his Christening ceremony this summer and I have found so many extraordinary photos that I decided to make an album for him.

   This time all my projects are inspired by a story I read recently in a Russian book. The idea is that you have to live your life in a good way, & that while you are being good, your angels can rest, because they can rely on you, that you won't do something bad, and thus they can help someone else who needs their assistance more, at this moment.  Beautiful story, isn't it?

So let's start and keep in my mind, that babies are like angels.

  My first layout  is called

фото очень личные с крестин, долго решалась публиковать ли их. но рискнула. личная история и вспомнила красивую историю из недавно прочитанной мною книги российской писательницы Марины Аромштам, Когда отдыхают ангелы. смысл таков: жить надо так, чтобы ангелы, которые к нам приставлены, могли спокойно от нас отлучиться на некоторое время, будучи спокойны за нас, зная, что мы ничего не натворим, и  могли отдохнуть и помочь в это время тем, кто действительно крайне нуждается в их помощи в этот момент.
извините, по техникам дальше все по- английски, иначе мой пост будет бесконечно долгим.

 "While the Angels  Rest"

I used the sketch from OUAS

 

which I flipped 90 degrees. and the theme is

  My journaling is hidden under the photo padding as you see it is too personal

 I decided to use just very simple techniques this time,  to keep the
 delicate  mood of the layouts..

  So I have used Chandalier 1 

 I covered it with primer, then I added modelling paste, embossed it
 with a heat gun using Starburst embossing powder.
After that I inked the edges with brown chalk ink.

and you can see gorgeous new release flowers from Manor House Creations

 

For the Clock Face Frames I used just the primer and embossing powder,

crackle paint and random dots of modelling paste.
 For the second part. The same technique was applied on Corner Rosie's

My second layout  is called
 "The Main Thing"

  Nothing special again, I just misted the
 Esther Name Plate

with Starburst mists.

Next I have just used the same techniques as I did
 with the  Helena's Corner.

Here I have  just added  some touches of gesso.

For the Iron Fence I covered it with Gesso, then Crackle paint
and embossed with Ruby Black embossing powder.

Here  I have  embossed the chandelier from Vintage elements 1.

  Here I have used a  Mini Fob Watch, which was just inked with Distress ink.

and as you see I used many mixed media techniques there so I decided to take part at the Mixed Media madness from Berry 71 Bleu with this LO, as I had problems with linking my canvas project for their challenge

My last layout  was made for Manor House Creations blog,
& since the photo was taken on this same special day,
I have decided to include it also at this post too.

 This layout is called
 

   Cherished Moments

These flowers add innocent look to the whole picture and they are still rich in strengthening the soft feelings

 I have used the same techniques that I have already shared above.

True Romance - Scraps of Darkness Kit

  Today I want to share with your some DT projects made for Scraps of Darkness Kit Club, using July's Kit called True Romance.
First of all I started playing with Prima Almanac Collection. I love the color combo of it and suppose that it perfectly fits the pic of my new born at his Christening, that was 2 weeks ago. I adore this photo of him.

  Хочу с вами поделиться моими новыми работами для Scraps of Darkness, это июльский набор True Romance. Я начала с коллекции Prima Almanac. Я так люблю ее за эту нежную палитру и думаю она идеально подходит для фото моего малыша с крестин. обожаю это фото, жалко, что это не я его на руках держу.

 I've played a lot at this background, first I covered it with Gesso through the stencil and stamped decorative stripes and embossed them with Lindy's powder, then added mists from Color Add on and glued some scrap stripes left from the patterned paper, after that I covered it with Texture paste through the Crafter's Workshop  Harlequin and lined the with a marker.

Да, вдоволь я здесь наигралась с созданием фона. сначала я нанесла акриловый грунт через трафарет, добавила много спреев. затем проштампила декоративные полоски и покрыла их пудрой для эмбоссинга. затем взяла обрезки от бумаги, наклеида их, ну а сверху нанесла текстурную пасту через трафарет ромбы. обвела ромбы обычным фломастером.

 I've added embossing powder on the chipboard too and add some Gesso with my fingers

 It was my turn to make a Pandora Box Tutorial for our Kit Club this month, so I decided to make some OTP project. I've made a Box, and called it A box for Your Secrets

  каждый месяц один из дизайнеров делает мастер класс для **Ящика Пандоры**, раскрывая свои секреты и используя что либо набора.  
на этот раз была моя очередь, поэтому я решила сделать какой-нибудь другой скрап объект, вуаля кробочка для ваших секретов.

  This Kit features some romance styled papers and it is reach in colours and embellishments, so it was inspired by Audrey Hepburn's quote **Happy Girls Are the Pretiest**.
Actually I keep in mind another her quote, on diamonds ( do you remember it), so I added many Pearl Flourishes from Flourish With A Bling, as they perfectly fit the chosen color palette. 

  Вдохновением послежила цитата Одри Хепберн о том, что счасливые девушки самые красивые. потом я вспомнила ее еще одно высказывание о бриллиантах - отсюда так много украшений.

 and I added some misting using Lindy’s Starburst mist that came at the Color Add Onn this month, I love them for 2 tones sparkling.

Ну и конечно же, здесь я тоже не обошлась без спреев, тем более с золотистыми оттенками  Lindy's Starburst (Они, кстати, были в дополнительном наборе Color Add On)
